Mark E. Wilson, M.D., received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University. He completed his internal medicine training at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital which is an affiliate of the University of Michigan. Dr. Wilson went on to complete his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Michigan State University. He remained an adjunct member of the faculty at MSU while practicing internal medicine and gastroenterology in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Wilson is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Medical Association. Dr. Wilson is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Gastroenterology. Upon moving to Mississippi, he continued to practice internal medicine and gastroenterology, joining G.I. Associates in 2000.
