J. Trippe McNeese, M.D.
J. Trippe McNeese joined the GI Associates family in 2010 and is one of the gastroenterologists at the Jackson GI Associates and Endoscopy Center.
He received a Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology and a minor in chemistry degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi. After medical school, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Dr. McNeese also completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. McNeese is affiliated with various hospitals in the Jackson-Metro area and is affiliated with organizations that include the American Gastroenterological Association, American Medical Association and the Mississippi State Medical Association. He has received numerous honors and awards, most recently the American Federation for Medical Research: Gastroenterology Scholar Research Award and the American Federation for Medical Research: Centocor Gastroenterology Scholar Research Award. Dr. McNeese also served as Captain, Medical Corp in the Mississippi Army National Guard from 1994-2006.
